For the better part of decade I was a researcher/reporter for the Los Angeles Times, where I was lucky enough to work on a few food stories. And once I made the front page by writing about rainfall in Seattle. These days I do freelance work.

My passions include animals, all things culinary, the process of research and storytelling, and the guy I married. When I’m not walking, running with, or training one of my dogs, I can either be found cooking, gardening, volunteering at my local humane society, or sitting in front of a computer.
